How to Play Snake

Arrow keys or WASD to steer (swipe on mobile). You can't reverse straight into yourself — a 180° turn is ignored.

  • Turn early near walls and your own tail — your next turn is queued up, so a last-second input can be too late.
  • Circle the open space rather than cutting straight for food; it keeps more escape routes available as you grow.
