Solitaire

The classic single-player card game, also known as Klondike or Patience. Deal seven columns from a shuffled deck, then build descending, alternating-color runs across the tableau while you dig for buried cards. Draw one card at a time from the stock when you’re stuck, and send every card up to its foundation — Ace through King, sorted by suit — to clear the board. Once the whole tableau is face up, an Auto Finish button sweeps the rest home for you.

How to Play Solitaire

Tap a face-up card to select it (and any valid run stacked on it), then tap a column or foundation to move it there. Tap a selected card again to deselect. Tap the stock pile to draw, or to reshuffle the waste back into the stock once it's empty.

  • Uncover face-down cards as early as you can — a buried card blocks everything stacked on top of it until it's exposed.
  • Don't rush aces and twos to the foundation if you might still need them to keep a tableau run building.
  • An empty column is valuable — only a King can start a new one, so save it for the King that's most stuck.
